Job Opportunity: Payroll Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our dedicated team. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in payroll processing and day-to-day data management. This fast-paced role is challenging yet rewarding and requires up-to-date proficiency with IT systems.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the payroll team to process 4-weekly payroll cycles
Assist in developing and implementing payroll processes for hourly and salaried employees
Verify key payroll activities for accuracy and compliance (e.g. new hires, promotions, and exits)
Prepare and input data into the payroll system
Generate payroll reports
Address payroll queries with excellent customer service
Provide guidance on Payroll processes and legislative requirements for business projects
Communicate effectively to resolve store inquiries regarding payslips
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR policiesQualifications:

Strong Excel skills and keen attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload and work within strict deadlines
Team player with the ability to work independently
Flexibility to take on other office duties as neededWhat We Offer:
