Part-Time Payroll Assistant
Salary: up to £25,000 FTE
Job Summary
Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large accountancy practice in the Nottingham area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join their team. Working for an established business, the client is looking for someone with 2+ years payroll experience ideally to come in and assist on the payroll team.
Reporting into the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for processing a high-volume client payroll across various frequencies as part of a team.
The role is 30hours a week with great flexitime around start and finish time and hybrid working of 2 days also.
The role is hybrid working - working from the Huddersfield office
System - Sage

Running Payroll
Resolving errors
Running multiple payrolls
Deductions - Tax/NI
Autoenrollment
Queries via email and telephone
Processing SSP/SMP/SPP
Manual calculations
High volume payroll
Strong Excel skills are useful
Strong communication skills essential
