Description:

We are currently partnered with a well-established charity who are searching for a Part time Payroll Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. The role is part time working 21 hours per week and will require you to be in the office 1 day per week after training.

Responsibilities will include:

Deliver accurate and timely payroll processing to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time
Ensure payroll calculations and deductions meet statutory and company requirements
Maintain up-to-date payroll records to support compliance and audit requirements
Support completion of HMRC returns including P60 and year-end activities
Provide cover for Payroll and Expenses Manager to ensure continuity of payroll operations
Respond to payroll queries promptly to ensure high levels of service and accuracy
