Payroll Advisor

Payroll Advisor | Full time and Permanent | Derbyshire | Hybrid

Ashley Kate are proud to be working with our client who operate in the construction industry as they search for a Payroll Advisor to join their fast paced Payroll team to process in house and end to end payroll. Reporting into the Assistant Payroll Manager you will processing weekly, biweekly and monthly payroll and will have strong legislative knowledge aligning with company policies and varied terms and conditions. This role will suit an ambitious and driven individual who can work with focused and hands on approach.

Responsibilities:

 Liaise with the HR team re changes to master data and action new starters, leavers & changes to pay

 Prepare and upload overtime submissions generated in the business

 Update payroll master data, e.g tax codes, NI categories, pension scheme details, bank accounts

 Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls, generating reports, completing checks, and preparing reconciliation comparisons for manager review

 Administer accurate changes to pay associated with all absence types

 Run the auto enrolment process

 Prepare and submit RTI returns ensuring legislative compliance

 Deliver the standards required to comply with internal controls

 Resolution of queries

 Manual calculations / advance payments

 Maintain accurate records

 Any other duties as required

About you:

·Minimum 2 years experience processing in house and end to end payroll.

·MHR iTrent (advantageous)

·Strong IT knowledge including Excel and Microsoft

·Experience processing in a fast paced environment, volume circa 3000

·Team player and excellent attention to detail
