Assist with statutory payroll processes and compliance requirements.
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and queries.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
Support ongoing payroll process improvements and automation initiatives.

About You

You'll have previous payroll experience in a busy, high-volume environment and be comfortable managing a varied workload with minimal supervision.

Essential experience:

End-to-end payroll processing experience.
Payroll bureau, outsourced payroll, or multi-client payroll experience.
Experience managing multiple payrolls simultaneously.
Strong payroll systems knowledge and Excel skills.
Experience working with a range of pension schemes and providers.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will likely come from a large payroll bureau or outsourced payroll provider and be used to handling high volumes and multiple payrolls at once.

You'll be:

Resilient and adaptable.

Able to work independently without extensive hand-holding.
Process-driven and solutions-focused.
Confident communicating with colleagues and stakeholders.
