If you’re an experienced Customer Service Manager or Patient Service Manager professional who is on the look out to join an innovative pharmacy business during an incredibly exciting time then here is your opportunity.

Working for one of the fastest growing private pharmacies in the UK based within the Basildon area, you’ll have the opportunity to join this medical cannabis business within their team as a Patient Service Manager

You’ll require the following essentials to be considered for this position:

Current or recent experience of working within a management level role within either customer or patient support roles
Ability to manage conflict and negotiate outcomes
Excellent communication skills for liaising with patients
Natural empathy in order to understand the emotions and needs of patients, providing comfort and support during challenging times
Comfortable working within a fast paced environment
The Patient Service Manager plays a vital role in supporting the team of Patient Support Advisers who support patients through a challenging period of their lives. Working to ensure that every patient receives the highest standard of care and has a positive experience throughout.

Within this position, you’ll also be carrying out the following duties:

Managing a team of patient support advisers ensuring that the service provided is in line with the companies’ expectation
Ensuring that there is a focus on the delivery of person centre approach to the resolution of complaints, concerns and enquiries from patients and carers
Promoting patient involvement and using all patient and carer / family feedback to improve practice and processes
Being proactive in dealing with issues without instruction as appropriate, be a self-starter and be able to chair and inspire the patient experience committee
Ensuring that the views of patients and customers are used to guide and inform the provision of services through patient forums and complaints
Handling escalation calls from the team of patient support advisers
Working hours and Salary

Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm.

Salary is between £30,000pa - £32,000pa depending on experience.
