We are currently recruiting for an experienced Patient Booking Clerk on behalf of our client based in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual with previous medical administration experience to join a busy healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Booking, rescheduling and cancelling patient appointments
Managing patient referrals and ensuring accurate data entry
Handling incoming telephone calls and email enquiries professionally
Maintaining accurate patient records in line with GDPR and confidentiality requirements
Liaising with clinical teams, patients and external healthcare providers
Supporting the administration team with general office duties as required

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience working within a medical, healthcare, GP practice, hospital setting
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Confident using Microsoft Office and patient management systems
Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
A current and valid DBS Certificate is essential
Available to start at short notice
