A reputable law firm in Cambridge are seeking a Patent Formalities Assistant to join their team on a full-time, 12 month contract basis.
What skills are required? For this position, you will need strong knowledge in patent formalities and filing procedures. At least 18 months’ experience within a similar role is preferable. A CIPA qualification would be advantageous. Additionally, you should be a motivated individual with great communication skills.
Duties:
* Docketing deadlines.
* Processing incoming correspondence and preparing outgoing correspondence.
* Recording appropriate charges for invoicing.
* Opening, closing, maintaining cases within the firm’s IP management system.
* Drafting and filing patent forms.
* Collating required documentation.
