This high quality fresh food establishment is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Pastry Chef to join their team in in delivering a variety of pastry items and desserts for thier busy Restaurant an Afternoon Tea business.
As Pastry Chef de Partie you will be need to be up to date with all cooking and presentation techniques, and preparing fresh local food for our guests and customers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join an incredible kitchen team.
You must have:
* Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to listen and communicate effectively
* NVQ Level 1/2/3 Professional Cookery/Patisserie or equivalent
* Enjoy working in a high volume fast-paced environment
Job Duties:
* Prepare all food items as directed in an effective and timely manner
* Follow recipes and presentation specifications
* Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
* Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
* Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
* Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
Salary: £29,000 with Tips and Overtime
