Are you an experienced Pastoral Worker looking for your next opportunity within a Bradford school? ✨ Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated and supportive Pastoral Worker to join a school on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils’ wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and personal development and who can build positive relationships with young people.

⭐ The ideal candidate will have:

✅ A minimum of 3 months' pastoral experience within a UK school – this is essential
✅ Additional school-based experience working with children or young people
✅ Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
✅ Experience supporting pupils with social, emotional or behavioural needs
✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✅ The ability to work effectively with teachers, pastoral teams and parents/carers
✅ A calm, approachable and consistent manner
✅ A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for pupils

Please note: Candidates must have previous pastoral experience within a UK school for a minimum of 3 months, alongside other relevant school-based experience. Applications without this experience will not be considered.

The Role:

As a Pastoral Worker, you will play an important role in supporting pupils both academically and personally. Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting pupils with behaviour, attendance and engagement
Providing 1:1 and small-group pastoral support
Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs
Working alongside teachers and the wider pastoral team
Monitoring pupil progress, behaviour and wellbeing
Helping to promote a positive and inclusive school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
