Working closely with students, families and school staff, you will play a key role in promoting positive wellbeing, engagement and achievement across the school community.

The Role

As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one support for students who require additional pastoral guidance.
Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
Support students experiencing social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
Promote positive behaviour, attendance and engagement in learning.
Deliver interventions focused on wellbeing, resilience and personal development.
Work closely with safeguarding, SEND and pastoral teams.
Liaise with parents/carers where appropriate.
Act as a positive role model throughout the school day.
