An inclusive and forward-thinking secondary school in the Rochdale area is eager to find a Pastoral Mentor able to conduct key 1:1 & small group academic support for students with SEMH needs located outside of the classroom setting.

Pastoral Mentor – Role Information:
* Supporting KS3 & KS4 students with SEMH needs
* Creating engaging learning experiences across variety of subjects
* Conducting tailored support outside of class setting
* Monitoring progression and combatting weak-points
* Monday to Friday role – October 2026 to July 2027
* Working hours: 08.30am to 15.15pm
* Paid £94 to £100 per day during-term time
Pastoral Mentor – Applicant Requirements:
* Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
* Prior experience supporting individuals with SEMH needs
* Resilient, patient and hard-working individual
* Ability to build rapport with challenging students
* Strong communication and organisation skills
Pastoral Mentor – The School:
* Foward-thinking and inclusive mainstream secondary school
* High perecentage of students with SEMH needs
* Located in the Harpurhey area of North Manchester
* Supportive and cohesive SEMH support department
