Salary: £100 - £130 per day

Can you successfully engage and manage students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Newcastle in their search for a Pastoral Cover Supervisor. The school is looking for a positive and confident individual who can promote high standards of behaviour and help maintain a focused learning environment across the school.
The school is looking to take on a Pastoral Cover Supervisor on a long-term basis, covering absent teachers across a variety of subjects with students in KS3 and KS4. The successful Pastoral Cover Supervisor will deliver pre-prepared work, manage classroom behaviour effectively and play an active role in influencing positive behaviour across the school.
The successful Pastoral Cover Supervisor will have:
Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable
Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4
Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Confidence supervising pre-prepared work across a variety of subjects
Excellent communication skills
A positive and proactive approach to supporting student behaviour
