Pastoral & Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools
Locations: Bolton & Salford
Salary: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting Pastoral and Behaviour Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Bolton and Salford.
These roles are ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, Behaviour Mentors, Learning Support Assistants, Cover Supervisors, Youth Workers, Graduates and other professionals with experience supporting young people.
The Role:
Providing targeted support to pupils who may be struggling with behaviour, attendance or engagement.
Working with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
Supporting students within lessons and around the school.
Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted member of the pastoral team.
Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Supporting behaviour management and restorative approaches.
Working closely with pastoral leaders, SENCOs and teaching staff.
Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence.The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with young people in an education, youth work, care, sports or similar environment.
Strong interpersonal and behaviour management skills.
Calm, patient and consistent in their approach.
Confident working with pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
Able to build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
