Madison Reign is working in partnership with a large, mainstream secondary school in the Southwark. The school is seeking a proactive and dedicated Pastoral Assistant to join their supportive team.
This is a long-term role starting ASAP, with a two-day paid trial and strong potential to continue until July 2028.
Role: Pastoral Assistant

???? Pay: £14 – £16 per hour

Key Responsibilities
*
Supporting teaching and pastoral staff across the school
*
Covering classes when required
*
Providing 1:1 student support and intervention
*
Overseeing student attendance and absence follow-ups
*
Booking meetings and appointments with parents and staff
*
Completing administrative tasks related to pastoral care

Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Pastoral Assistant or Cover Supervisor
*
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*
Legal right to work in the UK
*
Able to reliably commute to Southwark
This role is subject to:
