Cheadle & Uttoxeter Area, Staffordshire | £14.85 per hour | Days | Monday to Friday

Do you have automotive quality experience and know how to spot, investigate and resolve quality issues?

PROMAN is recruiting Non-Conforming Parts Technicians to support operations within the automotive sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Quality Inspection, Quality Control, Automotive Manufacturing or Engineering who wants to develop their experience within a hands-on quality environment.

You'll play an important role in identifying and managing non-conforming parts, carrying out inspections and helping ensure components meet the required quality and engineering standards.

Pay & Hours

Pay:

£14.85 per hour
Additional uplifts for nights and weekends where applicable

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
Friday: 07:00 - 12:00
30-minute break per day
Early finish every Friday

What You'll Be Doing

As a Non-Conforming Parts Technician, you'll be responsible for identifying, inspecting and helping resolve component quality issues.

Your duties will include:

Managing and supporting the non-conforming parts process
Carrying out visual and functional quality inspections
Identifying defects and components that do not meet specification
Reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings
Recording inspection findings accurately
Supporting quality investigations and problem-solving processes
Using site systems, with training provided
Ensuring work meets required automotive quality standards
Communicating quality concerns clearly to the relevant teams
Working independently and as part of the wider quality team
Following established quality procedures and processes
Supporting other sites when required

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates with:

Previous automotive quality experience
Quality Inspection or Quality Control experience
Experience dealing with non-conforming parts
The ability to read and understand 2D engineering drawings
Experience with quality problem-solving processes
Good computer and systems skills
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
The ability to follow processes and work to deadlines
A reliable and positive approach to work
Flexibility to support other local sites when required – within Staffordshire & Derbyshire.
