Description:

Our client, a Commercial Vehicle dealership in Worthing, West Sussex, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Parts Supervisor. This is a competitive opportunity for a motivated professional to lead a busy Parts Department, ensuring seamless daily operations and delivering exceptional customer service. The successful individual will join a well-established dealer group with a strong reputation in the local area and within the automotive industry.

Supportive, team-oriented working environmentDuties of a Parts Supervisor:

Lead, support, and motivate the Parts team to deliver outstanding service and operational efficiency as a Parts Supervisor
Oversee the daily operations of the Parts Department, minimising vehicle downtime through prompt parts supply
Manage parts sourcing, ordering, stock control, and inventory management 
Ensure accurate processing of stock receipts, returns, and documentation
Maintain optimal stock levels, monitoring obsolescence and ensuring parts availability
Support warranty, recovery, and other manufacturer processes according to brand standards
Build strong working relationships across departments including Workshop, Service, and Sales
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased profitability 
Support recruitment, training, and performance management of department staff as a Parts Supervisor
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and dealership policies
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to ensure a positive customer experienceRequirements of a Parts Supervisor:

Proven experience as a Parts Advisor within a commercial or motor dealership environment
Previous supervisory, coaching, or team support experience
Strong knowledge of parts ordering, stock control, and inventory management systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Organisational skills with great attention to detail
Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to team performance
Good IT skills, ideally with experience in Kerridge / Keyloop
Full UK driving licence is essential
