We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Manager to lead the parts department at a reputable dealership located in Redhill. Duties of the Parts Manager:
* Manage and oversee all daily operations of the Parts Department, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency
* Control stock levels, optimise stock utilisation, and oversee stock planning and administration as the Parts Manager
* Drive sales of parts, accessories, and value-added products to maximise departmental profitability
* Monitor and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs and improving financial performance
* Lead, motivate, and develop the team through coaching, training, and performance management
* Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety standards, and company policies
* Build and nurture relationships with trade account customers; explore new business opportunities
* Ensure accurate administration, including warranty processing, stock checks, and supplier relationships
Requirements of the Parts Manager:
* Proven experience within a Parts or Aftersales role in the motor trade
* Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to oversee a busy department
* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
* Good commercial awareness and numerical literacy
* Effective communication and customer service skills
* Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required
* Knowledge of relevant vehicle and trade legislation is desirable
