Description:
Our client, a leading organisation within the motorsport and automotive manufacturing sector, is seeking a Parts Co-ordinator to support its high-performance composites team on a contract basis. Working across a four-day schedule from Friday to Monday, 07:00 to 17:30, the role will ensure composite components and tooling are accurately tracked and available throughout the production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and manage composite parts and tooling through all stages of production using ERP systems such as D365 or SAP
Maintain accurate records of part status, location, readiness and traceability
Co-ordinate the movement of parts and tooling between production, inspection, assembly and logistics areas
Ensure parts are correctly labelled, stored and prepared for build stations or race events
Liaise with production, quality, planning and logistics teams to support the timely availability of components
Identify and escalate delays, shortages and quality concerns
Maintain accurate digital records, physical trackers, care notes and build documentation
Support inventory checks, audits and continuous improvement initiatives relating to part flow and traceability
Job Requirements:
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, automotive or motorsport environment
Strong project co-ordination, organisational and time-management skills
Proficiency using ERP systems, such as D365 or SAP, alongside Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet critical production deadlines
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across production teams
Proactive, solution-focused approach with the flexibility to support high-priority projects

Working Pattern:
This contract role follows a four-day working week from Friday to Monday, 07:00 to 17:30. The initial contract is expected to run until the end of the year, with potential for an extension through to the end of the build programme.
