The Role:
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Parts Assistant to help manage the daily operations of our client's parts department. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the parts department runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and organise inventory
* Order and receive automotive parts
* Assist customers with parts inquiries and sales
* Process and track parts orders
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts
* Conduct regular stock audits and adjustments
* Handle returns and exchanges of defective or incorrect parts
The Ideal Candidate:
You will be proactive and able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. While previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, we provide on-site training to help you succeed.
* Strong organisational skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience in stock control and invoicing (preferred but not essential)
