Salary: £30,500 basic, dependent on brand experience + bonus
Hours: 42 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm on a rota
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Parts Advisor RoleOctane Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy franchised dealership in Wolverhampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with previous automotive parts experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing a high level of service to both workshop and retail customers.
Working alongside an established parts team, you will play an important role in ensuring the department runs efficiently, parts are supplied accurately and customers receive an excellent level of service.
Parts Advisor Responsibilities
Assist the Parts Manager with the day-to-day running of the department
Supply parts efficiently to workshop technicians and retail customers
Support vehicle health checks and identify required parts for workshop jobs
Process customer and workshop parts orders accurately
Ensure orders are processed within required timescales
Receive incoming stock and ensure items are correctly located
Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with stock control
Process returns and ensure records remain up to date
Identify and report stock discrepancies to the Parts Manager
Answer incoming customer telephone enquiries
Provide customers with accurate parts information and availability
Maintain high levels of customer service throughout the department
Complete administration accurately and within required deadlinesParts Advisor Requirements
Previous experience working within an automotive Parts Advisor or similar parts-based role
Main dealership or manufacturer experience would be advantageous
Good understanding of automotive parts and workshop requirements
Strong IT and computer system skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Confident dealing with customers over the telephone and face-to-face
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team
