Parts Advisor

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team at our Birmingham Depot as a Parts Advisor.
The Hartshorne Group is one of the leading commercial vehicle distributors for the West Midlands, East Midlands, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire. We provide full parts & service facilities for Volvo Truck & Bus as well as new and used sales, plus a diverse range of associated services.
In this key role, you will provide vital parts and administrative support to our workshop operation, ensuring the timely identification, sourcing, pricing and supply of parts to keep our vehicle and trailer fleet running efficiently.
You will be responsible for preparing quotations, pre-picking parts for scheduled maintenance, managing urgent parts requests, and using pricing tools to secure the best value while staying up to date with current supplier promotions. The role also includes managing stock control processes, maintaining stock accuracy, handling warranty and contract-related items, coordinating exchange and specialist tool procedures, and ensuring all systems, records and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently. Hours of work
Monday - Friday 07.00am to 16.00pm.
1 in 3 Saturdays 08.00am to 12.00pm.
