Our client, a well-established automotive business in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy distribution centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual with a strong background in parts sales and customer service to progress their career within a reputable organisation.

Working hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a rotaDuties for this Parts Advisor position:
Achieve and surpass vehicle parts and accessories sales targets through consultative selling and telesales efforts
Engage with customers via telephone to promote parts, accessories, and related services
Educate customers on suitable parts to meet their needs both face-to-face and over the phone
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers to support business growth
Identify and develop new customer opportunities via proactive telesales activities
Effectively manage customer accounts to ensure retention and maximise sales
Maintain accurate records for orders and stock, both electronically and on paper
Provide high-standard customer service aligned with company standards
Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive team environmentRequirements for this Parts Advisor position:
Recent or current experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive industry
Experience in telesales or proactive customer communication highly desirable
Ideally worked within motor factors, franchise-approved dealerships, or similar environments
Strong communication and telephone skills
Good knowledge of electronic parts catalogue systems
Proven experience in customer management and development
UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
