Parts Advisor
Billingshurst, Essex
Starting from £14.42 per hour
An excellent opportunity has become available for a customer-focused Parts Advisor to join a busy and professional parts department.
This role is ideal for someone with automotive or agricultural machinery knowledge who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, delivering excellent customer service and supporting workshop operations.
Working Hours
·Monday to Friday
·8:00am - 5:00pm
During seasonal peak periods, additional hours and occasional weekend work may be required on a rota basis.
The Role
As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting customers and technicians by ensuring the correct parts are identified, ordered and supplied efficiently.
Key duties include:
·Assisting customers in person, over the phone and via email.
·Identifying and sourcing parts using electronic parts catalogues.
·Processing sales orders and invoices.
·Managing goods in and goods out.
·Organising returns and liaising with suppliers and couriers.
·Assisting with stock control and stock-taking activities.
·Pre-picking parts for workshop requirements.
·Maintaining a clean, safe and organised parts department.
Candidate Requirements
·Previous Parts Advisor experience preferred.
·Automotive or agricultural machinery knowledge essential.
·Excellent customer service and communication skills.
·Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
·Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
·Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
·Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
·Experience using dealer management systems advantageous but not essential.
