Locum NVQ2 Dispenser – GP Surgery Opportunity – Part Time – 2 days per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced NVQ2 Qualified Dispenser to support a busy GP surgery on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and organised dispenser with previous primary care experience and knowledge of SystemOne.
The Role
You will support the practice dispensary team with the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions, ensuring excellent patient service within a fast-paced GP surgery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Processing and dispensing prescriptions accurately
Managing repeat prescription requests
Supporting stock control and ordering of medicines
Handling patient queries professionally and efficiently
Working closely with GPs, pharmacists, and practice staff
Maintaining accurate patient medication records using SystemOne
Requirements
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
Previous GP surgery or primary care dispensing experience essential
Experience using SystemOne software essential
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication and patient service skills
Contract Details
Location: Near Peterborough
Working Days: Tuesdays & Fridays
Contract Length: 6 Months
