Infant School
Dulwich
A lovely infant school in Dulwich are looking for an experienced Year 2 Teacher to join their school in September 2024 on a job share basis, 3 days per week.
The Role
In this role you will be teaching a Year 2 class of 30 pupils. You will need to be able to quickly establish positive relationships with a range of pupils and be able to manage classroom effectively. The class require a dedicated teacher to support them for the academic year and through national testing in the summer term. As a 3-form-entry school you will work closely within the year group team to share planning and support during assessment and year group events. You should have a good understanding the curriculum and SATs for Year 2.
There are pupils with Special Educational needs in the class and you will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants.
This role is offered on a part-time contract basis 3 days a week for the academic year. The school are looking for a qualified teacher with prior teaching experience in KS1 who is familiar with SATs.
