Accelerate Teaching are looking for a part-time Year 2 Teacher, two days per week from September 2024.
Location: At a primary school on the outskirts of Pontefract
Position: Part-Time Year 2 Teacher (2 days per week: Thursday and Friday)
Start Date: September 2024

The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join us to be a part of a primary school team on a part-time basis for one year, starting in September 2024. This position is through the supply agency Accelerate Teaching. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of raising attainment and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons tailored to Year 2 pupils.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being.
Utilise data and assessment tools to monitor and report on pupil progress.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development.Requirements:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant teaching experience in Key Stage 1.
Demonstrable success in raising attainment levels.
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and best practices in primary education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
