A lovely, welcoming, one-form-entry, Church of England primary school in Wandsworth are looking for an experienced and qualified SENCo to join their team from September 2024, 2/3 days per week.
The Role
As the SENCO you will work closely with the senior leadership team to proactively lead the Special Needs provision across the school.
Your role will include:
Preparing Education, Health and Care Plans and making applications
Updating the school’s SEND record of need and making sure that there are excellent records all pupil's progress and needs.
Leading annual reviews
Providing specialist support for teachers and support staff in the school
Communications with parents, outside agencies and support teams across the borough
Organising training for staff so they are aware and confident about how to meet the needs of pupils within the school.
This SENCO role is offered on a part-time basis for the academic year. The school can offer 2/3 days a week and can be flexible on the working days. To apply for this position you must hold the SENCO qualification and have experience within a primary school setting.
