What you will be doing

In this exciting role at The Bridge a service for a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service, each day brings different challenges and experiences. Working 22.5 hours a week along side the reception team your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the office diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post.

Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.

As a Receptionist you will be:

Providing general administration. 

Initiating and develop systems and procedures to ensure a consistent, efficient service is maintained.

Sorting and processing the daily outgoing and incoming mail for the service.

Providing photocopying/Scanning support to departments. 

Providing cover for colleagues within the department when they are absent and/or on annual leave.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Excellent communication skills

Excellent verbal and written English 

Experience using Microsoft 

Previous experience in a similar role

Ability work alongside a team and independently

Must be welcoming and self-motivated

Where you will be working:

Location: Lower East Street, Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, TS2 1SW

You will be working at The Bridge, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service. Providing care and support for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

You will be working alongside the multidisciplinary team to deliver truly person-centred services where each individual is at the heart of everything. As a care centre, this service is a home from home offering ensuite accommodation and spacious communal areas with dedicated therapy spaces.
