Part-Time PR & Marketing Executive

One Pump Court

£35 – 40,000 PA, pro rata

20 hours per week

One Pump Court Chambers is seeking to appoint a Part-Time PR Administrator / Marketing & Events Executive to join their team to work up to 20 hours a week, flexible by agreement.

Reporting to the Senior Clerk and working closely with the PR Committee specific duties of this important support role, will include PR Administration & Marketing and Events.

Duties

* To assist with the planning & management of Chambers' events (seminars, parties, drinks receptions, conferences etc.) including e-mail shots, designing invitations, collating guest lists & replies, collating seminar material, delegate packs and presentations, pre- and post-event organisation, liaison with venues and caterers, and event set-up

* Manage relationship with website hosts (currently Uprise & MacMartin), including regular updating and maintenance of chambers’ website with news items, announcements, profiles, articles, etc.

* Manage relationship with other agencies and consultants (i.e. Legal Directories)

* Updating and promoting Chambers Social Media platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter – including through creation of video/image content.

* Assisting and consulting members with nominations for any awards.

* Assisting with building and implementing the social media strategy (in liaison with the PR committee to deliver on the PR strategy survey)

* Supporting members in their individual marketing endeavours.

* Deal with media enquiries and proactively seek new contacts to promote Chambers with media platforms that fit in with Chambers ethos.

* Maintain analytics for website, social media, events and campaigns, including the management if the database of solicitors on Lex.

* Plan, Co-ordinate and liaise with external bodies/organisations in the execution and organisation of sponsorship events.

* Assist with sourcing of eco-friendly merchandise.

The Person

* This role would suit a candidate with previous marketing experience or someone with experience of a first-class administrative role who wishes to broaden and develop their remit. It is important to be able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and to juggle different tasks. Knowledge or experience of the legal profession would be ideal but is not a pre-requisite.

* The role requires a working knowledge of applications and software required to make multimedia content for social media (i.e. video reels, slide shows, use of Adobe InDesign or Photoshop).

* CIM qualification is an advantage.

* You will be highly personable and approachable, diligent, conscientious, and present confidently and professionally. Having a clear ability to use and work with your own initiative, you will be able to work well under pressure and to deadlines. You will possess excellent communication skills. Focus and attention to detail and excellent service levels are essential.

* You will be able to build and develop relationships with a variety of professionals including members of Chambers and Clients, to affect an all-round outstanding service.

The role comes with a salary of £35,000-£40,000 p.a. pro rata, depending on experience
