Part Time Payroll Assistant at The NSS Group

Part of Group Payroll

20 hours a week- flexible working pattern within core hours

£24,000 – 26,000 per annum pro rata (Depending on experience)

25 days holiday plus bank holiday pro rata

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Part Time Payroll Assistant to join a well-established growing business based in our Leeds office. You will be working within the Finance department alongside the Payroll Manager. We are offering a competitive salary with Free onsite parking, Medicare and Company Pension.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Have previous experience of working within Payroll for a minimum of 5 years

* Have strong verbal and written communication skills

* Good personal time management and organisational skills

* Have the confidence to communicate at all levels of the business

* Have intermediate Excel skills

* Have the ability to work under pressure to achieve Payroll deadlines

* Very high standard of confidentiality/Reliability

Duties to include:

* Responsible for supporting the Payroll Manager in running 5 monthly payrolls for 500+ employees

* Liaising with the HR department and the wider business to keep payroll and benefit details up to date

* Processing starters and leaver and calculating pro rata payments

* Issuing P45’s and final payslips

* Analysing and resolving pay queries and providing information when required

* Processing payroll calculations including manual calculations when needed

* Reconciliation of payroll and supplying month end reporting

* Calculating Payroll from end to end

* Balancing and paying PAYE across to HMRC monthly

* Being committed to maintaining payroll legislation knowledge

* Reconciliation of Pension contributions/Court Orders for Third party payments including Auto enrolment duties

* Assist with Year End & P11D reporting
