Part-time Office Administrator (25 flexible hrs per week)

Manchester City Centre (Oxford Road/University/Hospital district)

Salary: £25-29K pro rata

Our client is an innovative R&D and manufacturing organisation based in Manchester City Centre and they are looking to recruit a part time Office Administrator to support with the day to day running of all aspects of business operations. You’ll be joining a small friendly team just outside the city centre in their modern office and lab facility. The role is reporting to the office manager and will be a permanent but part time position working 25hours per week. The working pattern is flexible and they can accommodate a range of working patterns across core business hours (Mon-Fri).

The role would suit an experienced office administrator who is keen to secure a hands-on admin role where you’ll get exposure to many different parts of the business; from general office admin to supporting with finance, data, stores management, auditing and ordering of office and lab supplies. Training will be provided as appropriate.

The successful candidate is likely to have the following skills and knowledge:

* Proven hands-on office/sales admin or b2b customer support

* Some supply management experience

* University educated (or equivalent vocational qualifications)

* Highly professional with a positive and friendly attitude and strong teamwork ethics

* Highly organised; able to prioritise to meet deadlines and targets

* Excellent communication skills across all levels of a business and internally and with customers

* Previous ERP or finance software experience would be highly desirable

* Proficient with all MS Office applications
