A position is available to join a Primary School, based in Bexley. The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for all pupils. The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Nursery Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis for one year, starting in September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on the early development of our youngest learners. The role is part-time, requiring availability for 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Monitor, assess, and report on the progress and development of nursery pupils, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters children's curiosity and love for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of each child.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you are required to be a qualified Teacher, and hold QTS. You will also have a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
