Description:
Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a growing manufacturing business on the appointment of a Part time Management Accountant. The purpose of the role is focused on generating and developing management accounts information, providing insight and direction to the directors and commercial and operations colleagues.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will play a key role across the business in improving data capture and improving reporting across the team. This role will be part time hours of between 28-32 hours a week and the pattern of hours can fit the individual’s circumstances but onsite presence in Billingham is required.
Responsibilities
* Creation of periodic management accounts
* Full P&L reporting with comparatives to budgets and forecasts
* Cost Centre reporting
* Budgets/Forecasts - lead on budget and 2x annual re-forecasts
* Modelling - Support to model business initiatives & commercial opportunities
* Ad hoc support of colleagues and managers across the business as may be required
Experience
* Accounting Qualification (AAT L4 minimum but open to part-qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
* Manufacturing background.
* Continuous improvement mindset – self starter with good communication skills.
* Good understanding of the Microsoft suite with strong Excel skills
