Make a Difference to Little Learners!

Are you looking for a part-time role in a nursery where you can make a real difference to children's daily experiences? Protocol Education is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join a welcoming nursery setting in the WF4 area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to gain valuable experience in an early years environment. There may also be opportunities to take on additional ad-hoc Teaching Assistant (TA) work within the setting, offering flexibility and the chance to gain further experience in education.

The Role

As a Nursery Lunchtime Supervisor, you will help ensure children have a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting children during lunchtime and encouraging positive eating habits.

Supervising children to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

Creating a calm, positive and nurturing environment.

Supporting children's independence and social development.

Working alongside nursery staff to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Following the nursery's safeguarding, health and safety procedures.

The Curiosity Approach

The nursery follows The Curiosity Approach, an inspiring early years philosophy that encourages children to explore, investigate and learn through curiosity, creativity and real-life experiences.

Experience with The Curiosity Approach would be beneficial. However, a willingness to learn and embrace this child-centred philosophy is equally welcome!

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

Caring, patient and enthusiastic about working with young children.

Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the hours Monday to Friday.

Confident supporting children's safety and wellbeing.

A positive team player with good communication skills.

Passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Interested in developing their experience within early years education.

Previous nursery or childcare experience would be advantageous, but we welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills and a genuine interest in working with children.

Additional earning opportunities: Potential to pick up ad-hoc Teaching Assistant shifts.

Valuable experience: Develop your skills within a nursery setting.
