Kitchen Assistant (Part-Time)
Stow-on-the-Wold | £13.50 - £14.00 per hour DOE | Temporary Contract
Are you looking for a part-time role where you can make a genuine difference while working as part of a friendly and supportive team?
We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join a busy retirement home in Stow-on-the-Wold on a temporary basis for approximately one month. Working alongside an experienced chef, you'll help prepare and serve nutritious, home-cooked meals that are enjoyed by residents every day.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with catering or kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Working Hours
Friday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm
Sunday: 11:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate
£13.50 - £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Assisting the chef with food preparation
Preparing ingredients and supporting meal service
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment is kept clean
Supporting the wider kitchen team as required
About You
Previous kitchen, catering or food preparation experience is desirable
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
