Are you passionate about performing Arts? Are you looking for the next step in your career as a Drama Teacher?
Pertemps are currently seeking an experienced Drama Teacher to make the move to Head of Drama OR a curreny Head of Drama seeking to reduce their timetable. The role is for a part-time Head of Drama to work 4 days per weel (including Monday to Wednesday and flexible on the Thursday & Friday). You will be required to teach the Drama curriculum up to KS4/5 and oversee the department.

The large school is an oustanding inclusive mixed secondary school in Hackney part of an award winning trust made up of 6 schools, 4 secondary and 2 primary. Based in heart of Hackney this is real community school with very high expectations of pupils and staff alike. The school are keen to retaint their staff and continually invest, offering CPD to all staff to ensure excellent career development. Their is an excellent leadership structure and friendly, passionate Drama team. They have 370 seat auditorium with bleacher seating and a retracting dividing wall to create spaces on two levels. Cinema projection capability, instruments and AV lighting and sound systems.
What’s on offer?
This is a full-time permanent role offering main and upper payscale. 4 days per week, term time only. The role is to start ASAP but willing to wait until September 2024.
What are we looking for?
* Experienced Drama Teacher
* Ideally experience in Leadership
* QTS (qualified teacher status)
* Current DBS on the update service
* 2 references covering the past 2 years.
