Salary: £80-£100/Annually FTE

All flexible part-time schedules will be considered for this role, with an anticipated commitment of 24 hours per week.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Finance Director to join our group of SME companies. In this role, you will play a transformative role in shaping and executing the financial strategy of Hallmark Engineering Group, continuing to ensure financial health and sustainability across all subsidiaries, and driving substantial market share growth.

You will collaborate closely with the Board of Directors to elevate the financial success of the entire group.

Strategic Financial Leadership:

Develop and execute an overarching financial strategy aligned with the group's business objectives.
Provide strategic financial input on decision-making issues affecting The Hallmark Group, including tracking cash flow, financial planning, and analysing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses to propose strategic directions.Comprehensive Financial Oversight:

Oversee the financial operations of each subsidiary, ensuring rigorous compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the entire group.Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and strategically manage potential financial risks, implementing measures to mitigate them.
Lead the development and maintenance of a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets, considering the broader organisational and industry landscape.Financial Analysis:

Provide comprehensive and insightful financial analysis to the Board of Directors, identifying trends and opportunities.
Drive performance improvement initiatives based on sophisticated financial insights, contributing to the strategic decision-making process.Financial Forecasting and Modelling:

Provide forecasting and modelling for likely future outcomes. Analyse the company's historical performance for accurate predictions. Factor in internal and external variables impacting revenue and expenses.
Create cohesive profit projections for the Board of Directors.Strategic Vision:

Demonstrate a strategic vision extending beyond immediate financial data, contributing to the overall goals of the organisation.Revenue Optimisation:

Working with the Commercial Director, develop and execute strategies to drive substantial market share growth.
Align market share growth strategies with revenue optimisation. Explore and capitalise on revenue-generating opportunities in target markets.
Foster strategic partnerships and alliances to drive revenue growth.Investment and Capital Management:

Evaluate investment opportunities and implement innovative funding approaches.
Optimise the capital structure of the group to maximise shareholder value, demonstrating an understanding of financial markets and trends.Acquisition Strategy:

Formulate strategic recommendations on potential mergers and acquisitions.
Assess market opportunities and conduct due diligence for viable partnerships.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial implications and risks associated with potential mergers and acquisitions.Leadership:

Lead and cultivate a high-performing finance team, instilling a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Ensure the professional development of the finance team members and align their efforts with the strategic goals of the organization.Strategic Stakeholder Relations:

Build and maintain influential relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Effectively communicate with the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders, providing transparent insights into financial performance and strategy.
Experience:

This role requires a seasoned financial leader with a proven track record in steering financial strategy at a senior executive level.
Strong financial acumen with a track record of successfully managing the financial aspects of multiple companies.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
