This growing and innovative organisation based near Camberley is looking for a Part Time Finance Assistant to join their team. You will be a joining a high-end business that has achieved great growth over the last few years and has created a very vibrant and enjoyable working culture. This role will be fully office based and you will be working around 25-30 hours per week with flexibility around how these hours are worked. This is a brilliant role for someone with a minimum of 1-2 years’ finance experience who is now looking for their next role in a fantastic business.
Part Time Finance Assistant – About The Role
In this role you will be working alongside the Finance Manager in supporting the daily running of the finance function. You will be required to support other departments in helping the business achieve its goals. Your key responsibilities will be:
* Ensuring accuracy in coding and processing of all purchase invoices and credit notes in a timely manner
* Collating, processing and analysing credit card expenditure
* Production of 2 payments runs a month
* Raising sales invoices on Sage and investigating debtor balances
* Bank reconciliation and assisting with month end journals
* Building relationships with existing suppliers and setting up new supplier accounts on the system
* Petty cash reconciliations and managing all finance admin.
The successful Part Time Finance Assistant will have:
* 1-2 years’ experience in a finance/accounts role
* Confident in using Microsoft packages
* Experience with Sage 50 would be advantageous
* Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
