???? Position: Finance Administrator

???? Place of Work: Sherborne Office

???? Contract Type: Permanent

???? Job Status: Part-Time (Two or three days per week)

????️ Working Hours: 9.00am - 17.15pm

???? Salary Range: £12.20- £14.85 per hour

???? Reports to: Finance Manager

???? Key Responsibilities: ????

???? Purchase and Sales Ledger Management:

Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile supplier statements to ledger accounts.
Prepare payment runs and process payments.
Resolve supplier queries and discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date transaction records.???? Expenses:

Process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policy.
Reconcile credit card statements and postings to the ledger.
Manage petty cash transactions and reconciliations.???? General Accounting Support:

File invoices and payment slips.
Assist with month-end closing procedures.
Provide support during external audits.
Support the Finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

???? Skills/Requirements: ????

✔️ AAT qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.

✔️ Previous experience using Sage50 or equivalent accounting software.

✔️ Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, particularly Word/Excel/Outlook.

✔️ Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

✔️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

✔️ Proactive approach to problem-solving.

✔️ Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
