Job Title: Part-Time Building Surveyor
Location: London Borough of Lambeth
Position Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 3 days a week, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Salary: £30 per hour

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting site inspections, assessing building conditions, and preparing detailed reports. This is a fully on-site role, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with our properties and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive site inspections to assess the condition of buildings and infrastructure.
Identify defects, structural issues, and maintenance requirements.
Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and suggested remedial actions.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external agencies as necessary.
Provide expert advice and guidance on building regulations, compliance, and best practices.
Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance and repair programs.Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying or related field.
Proven experience working as a Building Surveyor, preferably within a local authority or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and relevant legislation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficient in the use of surveying tools, software, and IT systems.
Full UK driving license and access to own transport preferred.Benefits:
