An unique opportunity for a Part Time Accounts Assistant & Bookkeeper, full or part qualified i.e. AAT or ACA pr ACCA, to join this highly successful business based in Croydon. This Part Time Accounts Assistant & Bookkeeper is offered part time basis working 16 hours over 2 or 3 days.
Accounts Assistant & Bookkeeper Duties:
Supporting the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant & Bookkeeper will be responsible for general bookkeeping and accounting and general accounting tasks using Sage. The successful candidate will have responsibility for general bookkeeping and accounting tasks, responsibilities will include but not limited to the
• General bookkeeping (accounts payable/accounts receivable)
• Recording transactions on Sage 50 accounting software
• Raising invoices as required and directed by the financial controller
• Managing filing of documents efficiently both on the system and manually
• General administrative activities
• Holiday cover for team members, assisting with required tasks
• Assisting the Financial controller with designated tasks
What's in your DNA / Experience Needed:
• A minimum of 3 years bookkeeping or accounts assistant experience would be the ideal
• Experience in international accounting ideally including the US would be a strong advantage to the role
• Be full or part qualified AAT, ACA or ACCA
• Be highly skilled in using Excel spreadsheets
• Experience in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel).
• Ability to balance and own workload
