Description:
Our client is seeking a part time Bookkeeper to join its friendly office team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and supporting financial processes, particularly during peak and off-peak seasons.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities
As the Bookkeeper some of your main duties will include:
Purchase Accounting tasks (invoicing, credit card and debit card transactions, petty cash, employee expense claims, supplier payments)
Bank reconciliations
Monthly payroll (processing of payment schedule, pension payments and holiday entitlement administration)
Seasonal finance support (income tax paperwork, subcontract payments, systems management)
Assist with year end and audit procedures

Bookkeeper Experience
As the Part Time Bookkeeper, you will have demonstrable experience within a similar position and be highly organised, self-motivated and be a keen problem solver. With first class communication skills, you will enjoy building relationships with various stakeholders and be passionate and enthusiastic to grow within the finance team. Accuracy and attention to detail is paramount, alongside the ability to work well under pressure. Ideally you will be AAT qualified or possess a wealth of experience within a similar Bookkeeping role. A full, clean UK driving license is required.
Location
The office location will be based near HP14 and will be fully office based.
