Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)
Outskirts of Ipswich
22.5 hours per week
Own transport essential due to location
We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and growing organisation based on the outskirts of Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance experience who is looking for flexibility alongside a varied and hands-on accounts role. The location is not easily accessible by public transport, therefore applicants must be able to drive.
Working as part of a supportive finance team, you will assist with a range of accounting and administrative duties, ensuring financial information is processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase invoices and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records.
Raising and processing payments.
Producing sales invoices in a timely manner.
Resolving purchase and sales ledger queries.
Assisting with finance administration and ad hoc duties as required.
Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.About You To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:
Previous accounts or finance experience.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
