Part qualified accountant

I am currently recruiting for a part-qualified accountant to join a growing and evolving accountancy practice in East Devon on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing accounts for various business types (limited companies, partnerships, sole traders) 

Contribute to tax compliance tasks, such as corporation tax return preparation 

Support clients with accounting and tax enquiries 

Help with audit processes under the supervision of a qualified accountant 

Manage bookkeeping for clients and prepare VAT returns

Advise clients on improving their accounting systems 

Maintain a strong understanding of current accounting standards and best practices 

Continuously develop technical skills through on-the-job experience and professional qualifications 

Key Skills:

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices 

Experience with accounting software 

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 

Effective communication and interpersonal skills 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Time management and organisational skills 

Qualifications:

Part-qualified ACCA, ACA or AAT.
