The ideal candidate will possess strong design flair, excellent technical knowledge, and proven proficiency in producing accurate production packages using Revit and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Production

BIM & Drafting: Produce high-quality, accurate 2D drawings in AutoCAD and comprehensive 3D BIM models in Revit for planning applications, tender packages, and construction documentation.

Detailing: Assist in the preparation of detailed architectural construction drawings, schedules (doors, windows, finishes), and specifications.

Design Development: Contribute creative design ideas and visualizations during the early concept and feasibility stages.

Project & Team Coordination

Collaboration: Coordinate with internal project teams and integrate packages from external consultants (structural, MEP, etc.) into the main architectural model.

Site Support: Attend site meetings and assist with contract administration duties and site inspections under the guidance of a registered Architect.

Regulations: Ensure all designs and technical drawings comply with local building regulations, planning policies, and office standards.

Part II Qualification: RIBA Part II qualification.

Studio Experience: Typically 1-3 years of post-Part II or relevant post-Part I experience within a professional architectural practice.

Software Proficiency

Revit: Strong working knowledge of Revit is essential. Experience with parametric modeling, families, and working within a collaborative central model environment.

AutoCAD: Proficient in 2D drafting, managing layers, Xrefs, and standard detailing protocols.

Visualisation & Other Tools: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and rendering software (e.g., Enscape, Lumion, or V-Ray) is highly desirable.

Core Competencies

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for writing reports, presenting ideas, and liaising with clients or contractors.

Problem Solving: A sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to resolving technical design conflicts.

Time Management: Ability to manage deadlines effectively across multiple active projects
