Bennett and Game are representing a well-established RIBA Chartered architectural practice based in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, who are looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their growing team. Our client are known for delivering technically robust, design-led projects across the UK within the Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, Education and Residential sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant to gain exposure to meaningful, high-profile schemes including specialist healthcare environments as well as major commercial and industrial developments. Assist with the design and technical delivery of projects across RIBA Stages 2-6
Produce and develop architectural drawings and models using Revit
Gain exposure to a wide range of sectors including Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Education and Residential
Assist with the preparation of planning and detailed technical information
Work alongside senior architects and consultants to develop coordinated design solutions
Gain experience working on projects ranging from £1m to £30m+
Assist with ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards
Attend project meetings and contribute to design development and coordination
Develop technical knowledge and gain valuable experience towards completing Part IIIPart II Architectural Assistant Requirements

Masters in Architecture
Previous experience within a UK architectural practice
Good working knowledge of Revit
Strong design and technical ability with a good understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work
Some experience across multiple RIBA Stages advantageous
Interest or experience within Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, Education or Residential sectors advantageous
Understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction processes
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proactive, motivated and keen to develop professionally
Portfolio demonstrating strong design and technical capabilities
