Parking Operation Manager

6 months contract with Local Authorities

Job Summary:

·        To act as Senior Responsible Officer for all elements of Parking Services Operations 

To deliver all elements of the Parking Operations function and related services in accordance with Royal Borough policies, practices, legal requirements and industry standards.
·         Managing all elements of the Councils CCTV Enforcement Infrastructure and Operations including asset management, daily operation, review function and owning supplier relationship

·         Managing all elements of the Councils Cashless Parking Infrastructure including asset management, daily operation, review function and owning supplier relationship

Key Duties/Accountabilities:

·         To recruit, train, develop, performance manage staff.

·         To manage staff that are dispersed across different offices and work locations, including staff operating on their own.

·         To build an informed, effective and flexible workforce which is able to meet and respond to changing service needs and challenges.

·         To inspire and motivate staff and partners to achieve, acknowledge achievement, use constructive criticism when warranted, helping to learn from mistakes and providing support to improve performance to achieve objectives.

Essential Experience Required:

·         Experience working in a council in the relevant field

·         Parking management experience

Additional information to note:

·         2 days in the office, 3 days at home (SE18 6HQ)

·         35 hours per week

·         9am - 4:30pm working hours
