As part of our expansion, we are seeking a skilled technical sales support/paraplanner to join our team and contribute to our mission of empowering clients to achieve their financial goals.

A Technical sales support/Paraplanner, to support a Financial Planner, within a chartered firm. You would be required to carry out the technical aspects of preparing for client meetings, including completion of regular reviews, analysis/opportunity spotting and writing suitability reports. There will also be a small amount of admin. A working knowledge of pre and post retirement planning, investments and taxation is key to this role.

Responsibilities:

* Ability to ensure that the Financial Planner’s requirements are fully understood by effectively question and then articulate understanding.

* Analysing information on a client’s existing financial arrangements and conducting a gap analysis.

* Research products, with guidelines from the Financial Planner, the clients’ circumstances and objectives, to support recommendations.

* Prepare and compile personalised Suitability and Ongoing Suitability Reports, which are clear to the client, written in plain English and include any compliance requirements. (Training will be provided)

* Prepping cases for client meetings.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience of working within an IFA environment, with a good knowledge of all retail investment products.

* Excellent organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to stay focused under pressure.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail.

* Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.

* Strong PC skills, with good knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

* Experience of Intelligent Office (IO) back office system.
