Are you a Paraplanner looking to join a close-knit, client-focused team where you'll be valued and supported? This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a growing wealth management firm in the Birmingham area.
As a Paraplanner, you'll play a key role in supporting a team of advisors, working on technical calculations, producing high-quality suitability reports, and contributing to the delivery of excellent client outcomes. This Paraplanner role offers the chance to work in a genuinely supportive environment where your technical skills will be appreciated and developed through ongoing training support.
Your responsibilities as a Paraplanner will include:
- Preparing comprehensive suitability reports for clients
- Conducting technical and tax calculations
- Supporting financial advisors with case preparation
- Ensuring all client documentation meets regulatory standards
Paraplanner Requirements:
- Essential: Approximately 2 years' paraplanning experience
- Essential: Proven report writing experience
- Essential: Technical calculation experience, particularly tax calculations
- Desirable: Diploma in Financial Planning (halfway through or a few papers remaining is acceptable)
- Desirable: Experience with Intelligence Office, Dynamic Planner, or similar systems
